Culinary Institute of America Treated to Trusted Veal from Europe During Alumni Weekend Festivities

The Trusted Veal from Europe team took center stage as a presenting sponsor at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) Alumni Weekend October 7-9, 2022, in Hyde Park, N.Y. The Culinary Institute of America alumni event attracts CIA alumni from across the U.S., showcasing the latest innovations in culinary techniques for alumni to incorporate into their own restaurants. Dutch Chef Ben van Beurten, founder of IkBen, and CIA instructors prepared numerous dishes with Trusted Veal from Europe products, including osso buco with smoked marrow butter and gremolata, veal loin and veal pastrami burgers.

During this three-day reunion, Van Beurten led one-hour kitchen showcases educating alumni on the heritage and quality of Dutch veal through product demonstrations, culinary storytelling and tasting. Trusted Veal from Europe was center of the plate for evening receptions, served and prepared by CIA students and chef instructors.
